Lead- On boarding


We are currently seeking a Project Lead – Onboarding to join the team , reporting to the Manager Resourcing & Onboarding Project. This role will be accountable for the project management and deployment of the Onboarding work stream associated with the Phase 2 of e2e Resourcing & Onboarding project.




  • Demonstrates an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the BHP Billiton Charter and Code of Business Conduct.
  • Work closely with all e2e Resourcing & Onboarding project resources,
  • Leads the phase 2 work stream team (4 FTE)
  • To interact closely with all other HR project streams and key business stakeholders to understand project integration needs.
  • Managing the coordination of relevant requirements of the onboarding process to inform detailed design.
  • Clearly and concisely presenting and communicating key messages related to the project to all stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner
  • Manage regular project reporting in line with GAS PMO for the project and relevant business leaders
  • Tracking and monitoring progress and escalating business risks where appropriate
  • Work in partnership with Technology and the implementation partner to deploy the onboarding solution
  • Ensure that employee and end user experience methodology are included in the approach taken during the detailed design.
  • To manage, analyse and communicate key changes associated with the deployment of this phase of the project.
  • Blend both knowledge of HR process, technology and best practice with a clear understanding of the project management discipline.

  • Degree level or equivalent experience.
  • A  Deep understanding of project management and HR processes in complex and challenging organizations
  • Advanced Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Superior communication and influencing skills
  • High degree of organizational awareness.
  • Change management Mind set and approach


  • Experience:
  • Practical understanding and experience of HR processes and practices
  • Background in project management
  • Understanding of the project management discipline and best practice
  • Fluent English both verbal and written.
