About the role

BHP Billiton's new Maintenance Centre of Excellence (MCoE) is the coming together of a dedicated, innovative team focused on identifying, achieving and maintaining the highest standards in maintenance for BHP Billiton globally.

These roles will be performed from our Centre of Excellence hubs based in our Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth offices, supported by the latest technology to engage with our sites around the Australia and the globe.

The Centre is seeking a highly organized individual to coordinate the requirements necessary for the successful completion of planning and scheduling maintenance requests. You will process incoming requests from site and assist with coordinating the maintenance schedule in SAP. You will be responsible for liaising with stakeholders and vendors to organize equipment, materials and personnel to ensure each task is carried out smoothly and efficiently.

About you

We are seeking applications from individuals with well-developed administration and coordination skills. You will be able to prioritize your day and work through high volumes of tasks accordingly. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a number of individuals. Sound computer skills are critical to the success of this role. Experience using SAP is preferred, but not essential.  We encourage applicants from all backgrounds and industries that have experience coordinating schedules and planning ahead. You are a team player, and you will actively participate in a culture of continuous improvement.  In return you will have the opportunity to learn in a progressive and supportive environment. We offer flexible working options and job share arrangements to promote and support diversity in our workplace.

At BHP Billiton, we recognise that we are strengthened by diversity. We are committed to providing a work environment in which everyone is included, treated fairly and with respect. We are an Equal Opportunity employer and we encourage applications from women and Indigenous people.

We know there are many aspects of our employees' lives that are important, and work is only one of these, so we offer benefits to enable your work to fit with your life. These benefits include flexible working options; a generous paid parental leave policy; other extended leave entitlements and parent rooms.

Please note, screening and interviews may take place prior to the advertised close date.
