About Us

BHP Billiton's Olympic Dam, located 560 kilometres north of Adelaide, South Australia, is one of Australia's largest underground mines, incorporating a complex minerals processing operation, producing copper cathode, uranium oxide concentrate, gold and silver. 

Position

Reporting to the Manager Organisational Capability and working within the Global OC Team you will focus on enabling organisational culture through the design and deployment of global frameworks, tools and strategic interventions in the areas of Talent, Development, Performance, Inclusion and Diversity, Leadership Development, Individual and Career Development, Graduate Development. The key priorities of this role are to:

  • Develop our leaders for today and the future
  • Enabling an inclusive and diverse workforce
  • Enabling our leaders to drive performance
  • Development of our people 

Skills and Experience 

As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate your success in enabling cultural change and transformation. You will be skilled in;

  • Engaging, influencing and achieving results by aligning stakeholders.
  • Leading or participating in large scale global programs and interventions that enable leaders to drive performance.
  • Identifying the organisational levers at the right time to deliver on Organisational Capability priorities.
  • Influencing the design of key people processes and partner with HRBPs to accelerate delivery of the company's inclusion and diversity objectives.
  • Connecting people and provide coaching to encourage sharing, learning and capability building.
  • Approach work through a lens of simplification, simplicity and continuous improvement.

This role is based in Adelaide, offering quality standard of living without the high costs of most other Australian capital cities. Adelaide offers a Mediterranean climate, beach-side lifestyle, cosmopolitan cafés and restaurants and world class wine regions just an hour away. All this plus an annual international festivals and events calendar makes Adelaide a vibrant, cultured, friendly environment to live, work and play in. Travel to site and to Perth will be required intermittently.
